Your Morning Skincare Ritual

Close your eyes and take a slow, deep breath. Feel your lungs expand with the
life of a new day, the possibilities, the anticipation. Slowly exhale. As your
body releases its spent breath, let your mind release any anxieties or doubts
of the coming day.


Turn on your faucet and adjust the water to a cool but comfortable
temperature. Fill your cupped hands with water and gently splash your face.
Feel the cool water awaken the nerve endings in your skin. Now, with your
face still damp, pour a dime-sized dollop of Facial Cleanser onto your
fingertips. Gently massage the cleanser into the skin on your face and neck.
As you continue your cleansing massage, take slow, deep breaths through
your nose. As you exhale, allow your mind to release any remaining tension or
worry for the coming day. After a minute of massage, use a cool wet
washcloth to remove the cleanser from your face and neck. Pat your face dry
with a clean towel.


Squeeze out a very small dab of Eye Serum, about the size of a grain of rice.
Focus on your breathing as you close your eyes. Gently pat the Eye Serum
into your under-eye and eyelid, taking special care to not pull at the sensitive
skin around your eyes. As you take another deep breath through your nose,
focus on your body posture as you reach your hands above your head. Feel
your spine align as you carefully deepen your stretch. Continue the soft
stretching of your back and spine for as long as is needed.


Slowly lean your head forward. Feel the stretch as your chin makes its way
toward chest. Slowly roll your head to one side, around the back, and to the
other side making big, slow circles with the tip of your nose. First, one
direction and then the other. Continue the soft neck stretches for as long as is
needed.


As you continue your focused breathing, pump two to three pumps of Day
Cream onto your fingertips. As you place tiny dollops of the day cream on
your forehead, cheeks, chin and neck, bring your focus to the coming day.
Think of something you are looking forward to, and set your daily intentions
(a plan for your day and how to accomplish it through your actions). Take
another deep breath through your nose.


Open your eyes and apply a sunscreen of your choice to your face, neck and
chest.
